Interfacing with a Production Management System (PMS) can be carried out. The type of interface will depend on the specific production situation and will have to be customized to meet its requirements.

For acquiring model-data, an interface with a CAD system based on DXF-file is achieved. Other type of interfaces can be customized for specific CAD-systems.

Furthermore these CAD-systems must be prepared to be able to expand the geometric data of the models with information about quality requirements, definition of stretching directions and marking positions.
